Becketts baby finds

A few of Beckett's favorite things....

I know what your thinking, did I hit my head. No. The second I saw this, saw the reviews and read about what it did (hello brilliant shower head that eliminates the dreaded cup of water over the head system) I knew this was meant to be in our home. It has a sling to use with newborns and then grows with your child until 2 years of age. No one asked me when I was a baby but if I could have my own little jet tub with a shower head that was all mine I'd say yes. Really.

There are alot of products that will come in and out of your house when a little one comes along. Some you use some you don't and some you replace and replace and replace cause they are just that good. There are also the ones that don't leave the house with the goodwill bag or the yard sale haul cause they are just that good. I've had 3 girlfriends now use the Orbit Stroller system and not one single one offered up their system to anyone. It's just that good. So when it was time to look into strollers we knew we had to purchase early cause it's an investment ladies and gents. Sit down and take a breather cause this might knock you out. If you don't know all this stroller can do and most importantly how it WORKS then click on the link and read up. With a price tag of upwards of 2,000 (without all the fun extras) it's not a system for everyone but if you can do it then you will most likely be carrying it onto your kids too :)
The second husband got home from work he tore into the boxes and put it all together. I think the funniest thing was when he said, "Our babies stroller cost more then my first 2 cars!!" True story but I bet this stroller is even safer then his first two cars :)

My husband thinks that carrying a baby on your chest is monkey business. I told him just wait till you NEED both hands and your dropping things left and right. 100 bucks says he puts this thing on right away. I'm in love with this style cause it's classic, simple and just a little bit sailor/nautical with those cute little buttons. Perfect for this classic nautical style girl :)

I'm not totally sure if this is something I NEED to have but it sure does seem like it will come in handy. Seems like a great alternative to the bouncy rocker chairs out there and maybe even a bit more stable.

I will have one if not two of these. First time I saw this product was on Good Morning America for the top rated and must have baby products of 2010-2011 segment. This highly rated and highly loved product is perfect for travel and even for going out to eat. I'm not about putting the baby in a bubble but those high chairs at restaurants are not exactly the most clean part of a restaurant and there is only so much you can wipe down with a squirming kid. Keep this in your car and presto, dinner is served faster and cleaner then you can put the kid in it.

Being our unborn child already is the owner of it's very own ipad, just waiting patiently for it to use it for games, movies, reading and sing along it should come as no surprise that we would be looking at monitors such as this. I believe while looking at a monitor that was voice only and highly rated husband very excitedly pointed at the catalog pages and said, "why would we get a boring one when we can just SEEEEE the baby AND talk to it". Oh right. Duh, come on wifey get with the cool ages.

As my loving husband was sitting there watching tv responding with  "uh huh oh cool, yep that's neat" whenever I showed him something out of the catalog, out of nowhere he goes "whoa does water come shooting out the top??" Not what does it do? What's it for? We will be getting one of these but I don't know who will use it more, little critter or husband??

I plan on making some/most of our babies food. I say some/most cause I don't want to label myself as a "baby food maker" and then do a post about Gerber baby food down the road. I will be making our babies food as much as I can but I know life and well, life gets in the way sometimes and it's good to have your back ups. These are great since they have lids. I know ice cube trays work too but those don't always have lids and if my pregnancy brain looks anything like my full time mom brain will then no one likes yucky forgotten freezer burned baby food in ice cube trays :(

It's like a baby coffee maker, but for milk :) Catchy right. It sterilizes, it warms jars and bottles to the exact perfect temperature, it stores bottles, it preps and can make a bottle at a speedy 30 seconds. When your done it cleans itself. Say no more I'm sold. If only it could make my espresso....

Not only is it cute and prevents water over flow but it also has a temp reader so you know the water is always perfect for your babies tooshie and toes.

Pour the food right into the handle and every time you squeeze it puts the perfect amount on your little ones spoon making feeding time easy and clean! Say no more, sounds like the best of both worlds to me!

We might as well live in the north pole cause our area iscooooooold. We live above the bay on a cliff. The two create high winds and chilly fog. Besides wearing long johns, ear muffs and parkas year round if we dare touch the thermostat to much in can lead us into $$$$$$$ heating bills. Talking triple digits here people. That being said this is a perfect indicator room by room of just how hot or cold a room is. The egg changes color based on the temp so you don't have to turn on any lights, just peek your head into the room and look at the egg. It also doubles as a night light. Perfect! This and a baby monitor will be attached to my hip at all times.

It's cute. It's simple and it's easy on the eyes. The grass blades hold your washed baby goods and dries them easily. It's like having spring in your kitchen except you don't have to mow it. Best of both worlds :)

For you eco friendly moms (my mom used cloth diapers on me, true story) you will be happy to know that they don't come in one color anymore! This my friends is a cloth diaper. Not a fancy-smancy cover up. Cute right, makes you think twice about cloth diapers!

Diaper Clutches, Wet Bags and Zip up carry alls.... maybe I'm crazy about these cause the company was started by mom's right here in San Francisco. Or perhaps maybe I'm crazy about this design (this is my fav, the site has TONS more to choose from) and the fact that they are all named after towns and neighborhoods in SF (including my own). Maybe it's the price which is reallllly goooood. Whatever it is, my Orbit cruising self will be sporting these along the way that's for sure. I think it's even something my husband won't be afraid to be seen out in public with.
