Nursey Theme....

If you could not tell by the colors of the blog here our nursery colors are yellow and grey. We went back and forth on a lot of color schemes like one favorite chocolate brown and blue and themes such as nautical and seaside. In the end however yellow and grey was the perfect choice with it's modern and neutral feel. As of now the "nursery" is still the guest room but that will soon change as we get those walls painted the perfect grey color. You can bet the color is already picked and splotched on the wall as a preview. We do have basics picked out such as the furniture.

So with that out of the way we can work on all the little details like fabric, bedding and accents. We are keeping the room very minimal and clean with a few shelves on the wall to hold items. The room already has a built in bookshelf and wonderful wooden shutters so it's easy to add items here and there. The trickiest part has been the bedding since we want organic bedding and of course want it to match our colors as close as possible. I'm thinking we might have to have something custom made which for as long as the baby uses the crib would be well worth the investment. 

That's what we have so far and it's great it came so easily! We are doing a lot of traveling in June so we can't wait to have everything done and ready to go by July.
