Baby update- week 30 and belly pics!

30 weeks and 4 days. 31 weeks on Saturday. How does it happen so fast. Wasn't it just yesterday i was buying my first pair of maternity pants or retiring my favorite heels to the closet shelves? Before we know it, Sir Beckett will be here. Especially since it looks like I've been having contractions for over a week now. Who knew! (I didn't) 

Baby Stats- 

How far along? 30 weeks and 4 days

How big is baby? He is almost 14.8 inches long (he should be 15.7 inches long) and he is 2.5 pounds (he should be a tad over 3 pounds). 

Gender? A BOY!! His name is Beckett Easton as a first and middle name. 

Weight gain?  I gained another .3 this week! As my doctor says even a .3 is better then losing weight! 

Due Date? full term date is 9/10/11 but they are looking at inducing us between 32-35 weeks. 

Symptoms? Apparently I've been having contractions for the past week or so and I had no idea. When I was at the doctor yesterday she was doing her exam and said "Oh, did you feel that?" to which I replied "I have no idea, I feel a lot of things so I stopped paying attention". After a few moments, some prodding and  the help of a machine it was confirmed that I'm contracting and Beckett is actually "in position". I have been telling everyone around for the past week that I feel like Beckett could seriously fall out any day now and apparently I wasn't crazy in saying that being how low he has gotten himself. Not comfortable kid. {I should also say that contractions don't mean the baby is coming or that labor is starting. Just something to monitor, track and watch}

Food cravings? Meh, I'm more into drinks. Smoothies and other frozen drinks sound so good. Salads and salmon too. Food is just not exciting. 

Sleep? I still sleep through the whole night. Only get up to pee and then right back to sleep. 

Movement? Up. Down. All around. Turn around. He is on a roll (literally) and wants the world to know. He sleeps for about 3 hours and then gets up and boogies for 20 min. Rinse and repeat.

Other Stuff? I officially start going to the doctors once a week now and I start my stress testing now too since I'm contracting and he is so low. Of course contractions don't mean he is coming or labor will start but it's certainly something to watch! We have the nursery almost done, I just can't wait to get in there and take pics. The clothes have been washed and hung. The furniture has been built and cleaned and cleaned again. The bedding is still a search but at least he has a sheet :) We have a few more frames to hang, a few shelves to accessorize and books to buy but then we are done!
