Yellow and grey nursery

As renters, designing your perfect nursery is quite the challenge. I'm super thrilled with the way the room came out with the limited options I really had to work with. That's one of the reason I choose the yellow and grey color combo I did in the first place; modern simplicity. Keep in mind we are still waiting patiently for the UPS man {or lady} to drop off a few more items to make it complete but don't worry I've also listed those below. I'll do this the easy way: pictures first and then a list of items that can be found in the room. If you have any other questions just ask and feel free to share any info as well on your own blog or twitter if you know someone looking for inspiration!

DIY projects included:
- window seat
- closet doors wrapped in fabric (how to coming soon)
- (coming soon) Fabric covered bookcase (for storage)
- room paint

{handmade by my mom}

{Pottery Barn- breathable crib bumper in white}

{Pottery Barn- Pique Monogrammed Coverlet}

{Pottery Barn- silver leaf hand and foot print frame (it's personalized so we are waiting for his actual birth date to place the order}

{Husband had to have it the second he saw it. He swears it's for Beckett but I'm sure I'll find it above his side of the bed, just watch....}

We still have a few things to do like put the crib bumper and the skirt on when they get here. I'm also going to be covering the middle bookcase section below the ship with yellow print fabric to hide bath essentials, towels, etc. It will really give the room that extra bit of yellow pop it needs to tie in the yellow and grey theme. I'm thinking of these prints for the DIY job

Other then that the only thing missing is Beckett :) He won't be in his room for a few weeks anyway so I'll do another reveal with everything in place when he actually uses his room for the very first time.

What do you think?
